der isländische komponist und multi-instrumentalist ómar guðjónsson (adhd, lón, roforofo) gehört seit über zwei jahrzehnten zu den prägenden stimmen der nordischen musikszene. mit „210“ – benannt nach der postleitzahl seiner heimatstadt garðabær – veröffentlicht er im februar 2026 sein zweites album mit der pedal steel guitar und zugleich sein sechstes soloalbum. guðjónsson steht dabei an der spitze von zwei trios: tommy baldu und tómas jónsson auf der einen, magnús trygvason elíassen und magnús jóhann ragnarsson auf der anderen seite. zwischen diesen klangwelten entfaltet sich guðjónssons pedal steel als erzählende, verbindende stimme. „210“ ist eine atmosphärische reise über heimat, veränderung und klang – ruhig, tief und von zeitloser schönheit…

mit into the blue legt die sängerin und komponistin clarissa forster ihr debütalbum vor. die acht stücke entstanden über mehrere jahre während ihres studiums für jazzgesang und komposition in nürnberg und formen ein geschlossenes programm zwischen kammerjazz, zeitgenössischem songwriting und offenen, atmosphärischen klangräumen.
forsters musikalischer weg beginnt in der klassik: ein klassisches klavierstudium in wiesbaden legte den grundstein für präzision und formbewusstsein. es folgten studien in jazzgesang sowie ein master in jazzkomposition. der jazz eröffnete ihr einen freieren zugang zu ausdruck und gestaltung. diese beiden pole – struktur und offenheit – prägen auch die musik von into the blue…
